Senior Cricket

Playing Senior Cricket with Ferny Districts

Ferny Districts provide an avenue for players to play senior cricket with Senior teams competing in summer, and both Senior and Junior teams competing in winter. Our summer teams include an A1, B1 and B3 Saturday sides (140 over 2 day format) and B3 Sunday (100 over, 1 day format)

The Warehouse Cricket Association of Qld (WCAQ) was officially formed in 1921 to provide a cricket competition for employees of Brisbane commercial business houses. Incorporating a mix of established multiple and single team cricket clubs, Warehouse Cricket now administers competitions that provide opportunities for players of all skill levels. Warehouse Cricket fixtures are played on turf and artificial wickets around the Greater Brisbane Area. Currently, Warehouse Cricket has approximately 340 teams playing on Saturdays or Sundays during both the Summer and Winter seasons. Warehouse is also the convenor of Country Week every December, an 8-A-side Tournament each summer and a Twenty20 carnival in April.
